Please help me know what I have is valuable or furniture that looks great but will fall apart. I spent a great deal of money on this set and looking for more rooms to decorate love the style

This is my first bedroom that my husband and I have purchased. Very happy so far fell in love with the set instantly. We had shopped around and I was introduced to Ethan Alan and Tommy Bahamas stuff, but I must say my set picked me. Fine craftsman ship. Doesn't have the feel of cheaply slapped together junk. We are pleased and proud of our purchase I must say we went with the trains wind Tradewinds canopy set with the meaning of chest media chest dresser with mirror the two-night stand with the marble tops in the darker tone. I really appreciate the fine detail that is noticeable throughout the suite. My only concern is what exactly is the wood and metal used very vague in the description and sales people not helpful at all. No formal instructions were given so I'm looking for answers to pass down to my surviving family that it will be left to. Can I get some information on it. This will also help make it more valuable to me to understand what I have exactly. Thanks
