Humans of City Furniture: Felix

During Felix Hermida’s days as a competitive clay shooter, he knew that one miss could lose the game—and that one second could make all the difference. That’s why his training involved both physical and psychological exercise, preparing him to remain calm and perform under pressure. And as an international champion, including wins in both Egypt and Italy, it’s clear that his dedication paid off.

Today, as a City Furniture Senior General Manager, Felix brings that same discipline to the showroom every time he comes to work. Taking on goals with the same focus that requires hitting a disc flying through the air at 60 miles per hour, he knows the importance of being resilient. In fact, his coworkers often ask how he keeps such a great attitude, and Felix has the simple answer, “I forget the negative, stay positive, and tell myself I can do this.”
