Prior to coming to CITY Furniture, I worked in Puerto Rico as an independent interior designer for more than 15 years, where I was licensed as both an interior designer and decorator. I hold a bachelor’s degree in interior design and decoration with an architectural drawing certificate.
Although I’m able to work with any style, I’m a big fan of mid-century modern. I’m passionate about how the great designers of that era were far ahead of their time. It’s interesting how today's modern furniture is inspired by modern classic furniture.

3 Interior Design Tips
Whether you're decorating your new home or you're looking to renovate and give your space a face lift, interior designing can be difficult. Bo matter how excited you are about your new home design, it is important to realize that it will be time consuming and require a considerable amount of work. At CITY Furniture, we know interior design. Follow these proven tips to make your next project simple.
Set a Budget
This is important. Before you can truly make any major decisions on furniture, flooring, carpentry or any other aspect of your interior design, you must first decide how much you can afford to spend on each room. Having a clearly defined budget allows you to save time as you browse for items. Let your budget be your guide and help you keep things in perspective. Trust us, you'll thank us later for this tip.
Plan Ahead
No matter what your vision is for your home design, we can ensure you that it will probably take longer than you imagine. If you want your home to be ready by a particular date, do yourself a favor and start early. Whether you're giving your living room a refresh, focusing on your home office space or decorating your man cave with a new entertainment center, interior design takes time and involves a lot of moving parts. So, if your goal is to have your space ready in time for your family visit, your birthday or any special occasion, start at least 30 days sooner than you originally planned.
